Important Usage Information
- Patch Tests: Even all-natural ingredients (like coffee or indigo) can cause allergic reactions in rare cases. A patch test is recommended prior to full application.
- Application time: Unlike synthetic dyes that process in 30 minutes, plant- based dyes typically need to remain on the hair for at least 90 minutes to allow the natural pigments to bind.
- Semi-Permanent limitations: Because it coats the hair instead of chemically opening the cuticle, the colour is semi-permanent. It may require 2 to 3 applications to achieve the desired dark shade, particularly if your hair has previously been exposed to heavy chemical treatments.
